On 25 September 2021, the Yew Chung International School of Beijing (YCIS Beijing) parent organisation and the group of secondary students involved in the charity initiative ‘We Echo@YCIS’, arranged a zoo trip in support of the non-profit organisation Operation Blessing’s ‘Back to Sound’ project. The organisation provides hearing aids and other assistance to young children with hearing loss. Most children are between 2-7 years of age and travel from Yunnan, Guizhou, Hunan, Qinghai, Henan and Hebei to receive their treatment in the Capital.
