Last week’s YCIS College Fair was a resounding success! Students and parents were enthusiastic to explore the options of different colleges and universities, attend workshops to navigate the complex process of college applications and make informed decisions about their academic pursuits and future careers.

Visitors from both Primary and Secondary were delighted to meet and network with representatives, whether they were at the starting point of their college search or had already narrowed down their target schools. They gained valuable personalised insights on study programmes, admission requirements and scholarships offered. Our careful selection of 30 institutions from Europe, USA, Canada and China provided ample opportunity for meaningful and face-to-face conversations between attendees and university representatives. We were proud to host some of the most prestigious universities that are regular top choices among our graduates and attended by YCIS Beijing alumni. These include the University of Warwick, Sheffield University, Glasgow University, Durham University, IE Business School, UC Davis, the University of Toronto, the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and Fudan University.

We would like to express our gratitude to Mr Abdul Oladipo, our CUGO (Career and University Guidance Officer), for organising this one-stop-shop event aimed at assisting our students in successfully navigating their college application process. This event was a valuable opportunity to connect with their preferred universities, get answers to their questions and bring them one step closer to achieving their goal of finding the best university fit. We are confident that the YCIS College Fair provided an insightful and helpful resource for our students to succeed with their college applications.
