YCIS Beijing’s walls were transformed into a stunning artistic gallery, adorning our auditorium corridor with a variety of artworks created by our Primary students in Years 1 to 6 and Lower Secondary students in Years 7 to 9. This event marks our second annual Art Exhibition and serves as a celebration of the year in art.
Our students’ creations captivated parents and families, viewing these displays in amazement and wonder. The artwork filled the auditorium corridor and additional school locations.
The celebrations of art and unique shows are led by our talented Primary and Lower Secondary Art teacher, Ms Alicia Milne, and Secondary Art Teacher, Ms Margaret Garisch, who inspire our student artists, teach them new artistic skills, and nurture their talents.
Opening day for the exhibition was June 14, debuting the same day as the primary concert and will run through June 28. The coinciding events allowed our parents to seize the opportunity to enjoy an array of fine arts and artistic expressions. Artworks on display included 2D artworks on paper, 3D sculptures, and various textile projects. We are so proud of our Primary and Lower Secondary students and honoured to showcase their talents, boundless creativity and vivid imaginations.
Thank you to our students, Ms Milne and Ms Garisch for turning our School into a colorful and joyous gallery of art!
