We are thrilled to unveil our first annual Primary School Art Show, launched by our Primary Art teacher, Ms Alicia Milne. This exceptional event is dedicated to celebrating the boundless creativity, vivid imagination, and remarkable skill development of our talented YCIS Primary students. Throughout the month of June, our school’s corridor near the auditorium underwent a transformation into an awe-inspiring art gallery.
The art gallery proudly showcased a captivating collection of artwork crafted by our young artists in Years 1 to 6. The range of exhibits on display is nothing short of extraordinary, featuring vibrant paintings, captivating sculptures, and intricate fiber art. Each piece serves as a testament to the unique artistic expression of our students, and we couldn't be more proud of their remarkable achievements.
Many parents seized the opportunity to attend the art exhibition on the day of the Primary Summer Concert, held on June 16th. The parents were delighted and deeply moved as they witnessed the synergy between their children's performing arts and fine arts talents. This combination of sight and sound created an extraordinary and fulfilling experience for all attendees.
We extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who participated in and supported the Primary School Art Show. The immense talent, dedication, and hard work demonstrated by our young artists have truly made this event an unparalleled success. We eagerly anticipate future editions of this art show, as we continue to foster and celebrate the artistic growth and achievements of our remarkable YCIS Primary students.
