Terrific news for YCIS Beijing Scorpion fans this week as both the Under 14 boys and girls basketball teams brought home 1st place trophies from the ISAC tournament held in Tianjin. For those of you who have been following along at home, both teams haven’t dropped a single game throughout the entire season.

With the stakes astronomically high during last week’s games, our mighty scorpions managed to pull off a clean sweep using the kind of co-operation and focus under pressure that the teams have been playing with all season! Shout-outs go to Kalsie Timms for her precision shooting, Isabella Schmid for her undeniable free throw skills, and Marco Tong for his teamwork and phenomenal rebounding throughout the entire season.

Massive congratulations to all our ISAC Champions for bringing home the gold. A special thank also to our coaches who dedicated their time training and supporting our teams as well as our parents and fans who have showed unwavering support throughout the season. It’s truly inspiring to see our YCIS Beijing students succeeding not only in the classroom but also on the court.
