This past weekend, the Yew Chung International School of Beijing hosted the annual ACAMIS Table Tennis Tournament on its campus. The event saw 11 schools from across China and over 60 student participants locked in friendly competition over the two days of matches.
Students played in a variety of singles, doubles, and team games, with some participants playing up to 20 games over the course of two days. Hats off to all the participants for their determination and grit through the tournament as well as giving the spectators a chance to witness some truly fine table tennis.
A special congratulations goes to YCIS Beijing’s very own Mio Kawai and her truly exceptional performance during the tournament for which she was received 2nd place honours! Learn more about her dedication to the sport by reading her previous student blog.
We’d like to thank all of our supporting staff who made the event possible. We look forward to hosting more tournaments in the future. Go Scorpions!
